No owner inscrptn,no annotation and no price-removal from card cover.Bright,crisp,clean, sharp-cornered,glossy,wrap-around white background with red+black lettering to front cover,repeated similar coloured lettering to spine/backstrip but with red lettered title inevitably but slighty sunned/faded - NO reading creases to spine,rear cover with black+red lettering; with negligible shelf-wear,bumping, creasing to edges and corners - no nicks,tears or splits present.Minimal, superficial scoring to either cover - but not excessive or obtrusive.Top+fore-edges aged/toned but without foxing/spotting or other blemish; contents bright,tight,clean,solid and sound - virtually pristine - no dog-ear reading creases to any pages' corner tips - would appear unused and unread other than my own collation.UK,12mo p/back,Uncorrected Proof,1st thus,5-267pp [paginated] includes 10 chapters and a postscript; plus [unpaginated] half-title+title pages and to the rear 4pp blanks.
Visually the exterior appearance is more than acceptable,and even internally,the book is in an exceptional condition/state of preservation and presentation for a book of its age and nature, i.e. an ephemeral p/back proof for a child’s book.It is only the exterior faults that prevents a slightly higher grading.Despite them, it really is a more than acceptable copy for its cleanliness and brightness.
